Perfectionism and comparison can obscure your worth. How to meet yourself with more kindness without perfect performance.
Why do I never feel good enough?
You can achieve a great deal and still feel it is insufficient. When your worth depends only on performance, the finish line keeps moving. Achievement brings brief relief and then another demand. Self-worth is not a reward for a flawless day. It belongs to you when you rest, make mistakes or feel unsure.
Comparison gets especially loud when we see selected moments from other people’s lives. A photo or a post cannot tell the whole story. When you notice yourself comparing, return to what matters to you.
What does self-love look like in daily life?
Self-love does not have to feel dramatic in front of a mirror. It may look like eating regularly, resting, setting a boundary or saying “I have done enough today.” Instead of asking whether you finally love yourself, ask what you need today.
Write down three qualities you appreciate in yourself that have nothing to do with appearance or achievement. They need not be grand: perhaps honesty, curiosity or the ability to stay with someone in a hard moment.
What can I do with perfectionism?
Choose one task where good enough is enough. Notice what happens when you finish it without one more round of corrections. Discomfort may appear, but it does not have to make the decision for you. If self-criticism is persistent, a qualified professional can offer valuable support.
In Theta Healing we can explore the stories you carry about yourself. You can then test new choices in small everyday steps.
